DIGITAL SERVICE TECHNICIAN

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
Installation and training on the hardware and software we sell and support Install the hardware/software, train customers on the usage of these products. Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions virtually and in person. Play an active role in vendor relations by effectively communicating escalated equipment problems to ensure timely resolution for our valued customers. Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills, shares expertise with others. Provide technical support of digital printing hardware and software via email, telephone, and on-site visits. Answer questions concerning installation, operation, customization, and usage of digital printing equipment. Accurately document technical calls with CRM Database to facilitate diagnostics and prompt solutions for our customers. Advise and educate customers to ensure a complete timely resolution. Responsible for performing virtual training, webinars, installs. Guide and support sales staff during sales process and resolution of technical issues.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Associates degree in Electronics/Advanced Mechanics/Graphic Design/Printing Technology training with 1+ years related industry/equipment experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires strong electronics and mechanical background, understanding of computer program functionality and software troubleshooting skills Strong Advanced knowledge of PC configuration with outside software and connectivity to printers & other devices. Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop. Strong interpersonal skills—able to communicate effectively with vendors, employees, and executives. Possess high expectations of what can be accomplished by self AND team. Ability to speak Spanish is a plus High degree of patience with people and processes. Travel 90-95%, sometimes with little notice.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to lift, twist, push, pull, carry, and transport equipment parts and boxers weighing 75+ pounds on a frequent basis. Requires prolonged standing or walking, frequent bending, stooping, and reaching daily.
