Dental Assistant The Dental Assistant is responsible for providing dental care to patients in a public health setting. This position works under the supervision of a dentist and is responsible for a variety of tasks, including: Preparing patients for dental procedures Taking and developing dental X-rays Cleaning and polishing teeth Applying fluoride treatments Instructing patients on oral hygiene Maintaining dental records
Dental Assistant Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent State or National Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent X-ray Certification At least one year of experience working in a dental setting (preferred) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team State Driver's License and clean driving record
Dental Assistant Summary:
Full-Time:
Monday-Friday, Open flexibility on hours required
Rate:
$28.00-$30.00/hr
