MORTGAGE LOAN CLOSER I WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
The Mortgage Loan Closer I is responsible for reviewing executed loan packages for accuracy and completeness. They are also responsible for funding the loan. The Mortgage Loan Closer I is also responsible for completing post-closing audits and issuing post consummation closing disclosures. What you will do Ensures file and documents meet all applicable bank and compliance requirements. Communicate and respond to internal customers within 2 hours. Confirms all applicable wait periods have been met prior to funding. Confirms all prior to funding conditions have been satisfied. Completes a minimum of 8 files per day. Issues post consummation-closing disclosures within the allotted SLA. Completes post-close audits of recently funded loans. Follows up for trailing docs as needed. Verifies and inputs loan information accurately into loan origination system. Verifies the following information is correct, but not limited to: subject property address, wire information, insurance policy information, all fees, & the correct set-up of any impounds. Other duties as/or assigned by management. Must-Have H.S. Diploma Minimum 1 year recent closing/funding experience Minimum 1 year basic computer experience (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) required. Skills and Knowledge Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to maintain high levels of performance, especially in stressful situations. Strong knowledge of federal/state regulatory policies and procedures. (TRID experience required) Excellent written and verbal skills. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to multi-task and work in a deadline driven environment. Proficient PC skills, including Microsoft Office and Loan Origination systems. Compensation Starting base salary: $22.27 - $33.43 per hour. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
