JOB REQUIREMENTS

Pay:

\$25/hour depending on experience The SwingDriver will safely operate one or more vehicle types including FrontEnd, Roll Off, Residential and other trucks utilizing various collectionmethods to service customers in a safe and efficient manner. Delivercollected solid waste or recyclables to landfill, MRF or transferstation. Fill in for various routes as needed to ensure consistentservice.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate one or more vehicle types withboth automatic and standard transmission and collect solid waste, yardwaste and/or recyclables on a collection route. Route may vary dailybased on service needs. Complete pre-trip and post-trip safety laneinspections and reports, daily truck report, route sheets and otherdocumentation requested by supervisor daily. Communicate vehiclemechanical problems to mechanic and supervisor immediately. Operatetruck and equipment using prescribed techniques to eliminatedriver-induced mechanical failures. Follow all safety standards,equipment checks and precautions in performance of all duties. Complywith all federal, state/provincial, local and company rules on safetyand vehicle operation. Maintain clean vehicle by cleaning cab interiorand exterior of vehicle. Manage assigned Helper(s) if applicable Conformin all respects with applicable federal, state/provincial and locallaws, regulations, ordinances and other orders and to all companypolicies, procedures and directives from supervisors. Ensure that allrequired personal protective equipment be worn at all times (i.e.,gloves, reflective vest, safety glasses, work boots, etc.) Report allaccidents or incidents to supervisor(s) immediately Exhibit aprofessional demeanor, manner and appearance at all times (i.e., meetingcustomers and/or the general public while on route or in uniform.)Maintain accurate records of services performed. Perform extra orspecial pick-ups. May be needed to complete route observations on allroutes on a pre-determined basis, document findings and provide reportto immediate supervisor. Stop service directives. Develop directions tonew accounts. May assist with training other Drivers. Attend safety andbranch meetings. Perform other duties and responsibilities as requiredor requested by management.

Requirements:

High school diploma or generaleducation degree (GED) desired. Must have a vaild Commerical Driver\'sLicense Minimum one (1) years of commercial driving experience OR CDLschool certificate Must be able to meet relevant criteria for safetysensitive functions according to Company standards Must be able todemonstrate the ability to safely drive the truck and operate theequipment

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge of the truck andits components and the basic maintenance
