HIRING:
Heavy Equipment Service Technician Cedar Rapids, IA Job Type:
Full-time Hourly Pay:
$42,000 - $80,000 per year Responsibilities Must possess knowledge of repairing, servicing and, maintaining electrical, hydraulic, chassis, pump systems, safety services, and body service issues related to all types of construction equipment and Aerial Lifts Preform maintenance and inspections in accordance with NFPA, OSHA, ANSI, and other manufacture's requirements and company security regulations Must be willing and able to work occasional overtime, stand-by, and unannounced call out situations Identify and coordinate needs of repair with shop supervisor or supply personnel Maintain and safely operate company service vehicle Experience Diesel engine repair: 1 year (Preferred) Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred) High School Diploma or Equivalent 3 Years work experience in equipment service and repair Valid driver's license with a clean MVR Physical Work Conditions (not limited to) Noise, trip hazards, fall hazards, various chemicals such as, but not limited to, battery acid, grease, natural de-greaser, etc. Hot, humid, or cold climates Working on, around and underneath large equipment requiring squatting, kneeling, crawling, standing, etc. for extended periods of time Requires lifting of parts, tools, etc. that may occasionally weigh 100 lbs.
