SUMMARY:
Qorvo TX Operations is looking for a process technician who is flexible, a great problem solver, and enthusiastic about learning and growing! This non-exempt position requires working a Monday to Friday schedule from 8am to 5pm per week to support production lines in AMMA facility.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Work closely with the operations and engineering teams to conduct regular inspection of products to meet customer requirement. Perform product dispositions, monitor statistical process controls, and update specifications. Single point of contact for driving quality excursions on the floor. Diagnose and resolve quality problems by following documented procedures. Able to perform datacollection / critical measurements (shear test , solder joint inspetion and wire pull). Review and respond to statistical process control charts. Coach, train, and assist factory operators in order to enhance productivity. Identify and address potential areas for improvement relating to safety, quality, output, and cost.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED required, Associates degree or above in a STEM discipline is preferred. A minimum of 3yearrelevant experience. Experience workingin a semiconductor manufacturing facility is preferred. Experience with semiconductor componentcross-sectioningand use of SEM is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact effectively with operations, equipment support, and engineering in a dynamic, team-based environment. Possess an understanding of DoE, SPC, and other statistical tools/methods. This factory position requires wearing cleanroom attire and protective equipment; Bending, twisting, lifting up to 25 pounds, and standing for extended periods of time will be required.
