GI Procedure Support Technician•

Contract Duties:

Prepare and monitor patients for endoscopy procedures, documenting vital signs and other data. Support physicians and RNs during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Ensure all equipment is functional, clean, and stocked for daily operations. Maintain logs for sterilization and equipment checks. Assist with patient care tasks, including bathing, feeding, and mobility. Organize and manage inventory, ensuring all supplies are available. Conduct safety and pressure tests for procedure rooms.

Skills Required:

Familiarity with endoscopy procedures and infection control practices. ACLS and BLS certifications mandatory.

Education:

High school diploma or GED required. College-level courses in healthcare or sciences preferred.
