Electrical Maintenance Technician Job Summary:

Pay:

$21.00 - $35.00 per hour, based on experience

Shift Available:

Night Shift:

6:00 PM to 6:00 AM (Rotating schedule: 3 on/2 off; 2 on/3 off) Perform preventive maintenance tasks and emergency repairs. Troubleshoot and resolve automation and electrical issues, including PLCs and ladder logic. Maintain, repair, and ensure the daily upkeep of machinery and equipment. Assist with equipment setup and relocation. Focus on improving uptime/downtime and operational efficiency.

Electrical Maintenance Technician Qualifications:

Education:

High School Diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred.

Experience:

2-3 years in maintenance, including automation and electrical troubleshooting. Proficient in PLC troubleshooting, electrical systems (5V to 480V), and schematic reading.

Skills:

Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics. Familiarity with PLC design software and general computer applications.

Certifications:

Willingness to obtain forklift, overhead crane, and elevated lift licenses.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds. Must perform physical activities such as climbing, kneeling, and balancing. Why Zing?
