ITS, LLC

is seeking a successful candidate as a Server Administrator (Windows) to support the United States Space Force at Peterson SFB, CO .

Key Responsibilities :

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assist with administering 12 Windows servers and 1 NetApp File server supporting 1800 users to include Patch Management Maintain the enterprise backup infrastructure and disaster recovery resources using Vertias NetBackup and Spectra Logic Tape library Maintain PowerShell repository of locally written scripts to aid Help Desk Technicians in ticket resolutions for Server Administration Provide file server management (including permissions management, data size management, and policy enforcement) and perform data leak and information cleanup procedures Provide Tier III technical support to Help Desk Operations Assist with technical requirements/rack drawings and electronic bulletin board management Monitor performance of information technology systems to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure Help define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT/Server needs Assess vendors and develop test strategies for new hardware and software Design, develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies and procedures to ensure security of data, network access and backup systems Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions Support VMWare servers for 50 clients

Preferred Qualifications:

Must be career-level with a complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts for Server Administration Working under only general direction, provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems Independently determines and develops approach to solutions PowerShell script writing and Windows Server OS experience preferred

Education/Experience:

High School Diploma with 10 years Server Admin experience Associate with 7 Years Server Admin Experience IAT Level 2 Certification (Security CE)
