This role will schedule jobs to meet the objectives of production and new product development activities to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction. This is an on-site position.
Shift:
1st shift: Monday
  • Friday, 7:00am
  • 4:00pm, or 8:00am
  • 5:00pm. The typical pay range for this role: $26
  • 35/hour.
This role is also eligible for our 5% quarterly bonus target. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. Casual Dress Code Essential Duties:
Utilize various ERP modules to create and schedule jobs required to meet customer demand ensuring material and resource (equipment and labor) availability. Navigate ERP modules to monitor, investigate and optimize schedules, materials, resource and labor utilization, efficiencies and priorities. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to identify schedule and delivery concerns and update affected persons/teams regarding job status and product deliveries. Work with account management, purchasing, operations teams, and shipping to best meet/coordinate schedule changes/needs of our customers. Record daily performance metrics and support daily, weekly, and monthly reporting. Attend daily standup and lead production planning meetings. Maintain and publish weekly production schedules. Update various ERP modules to accurately reflect all requirements for operations including production calendars and resource groups. Work with program management/engineering to address corrections/concerns with methods of manufacturing including rate and routings. Be a backup to the Master Scheduler to provide coverage for PTO or as needed by the scheduling team. Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED
  • Required Preferred Associate's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
Valid identification and the ability to work legally in the United States. Preferred 3 years' experience in manufacturing assembly; previous experience in scheduling preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; working knowledge of Microsoft Office Proficient with MRP/ERP systems The ability to multi-task, coordinate conflicting priorities, rapid decision making and to work independently with limited supervision.
Physical & Mental Demands:
Walking is required within the office/shop areas. Sitting, standing, turning the head and torso, reaching, grasping, bending and flexing the arms, legs, wrists, and fingers are physical requirements. Must have correctable eyesight and good depth perception. Must be able to sit for long periods of time. Must be able to walk, sit and occasionally climb and balance. Must be able to lift 10 pounds and move objects in a safe manner using proper equipment. Must have dexterity with hands. Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks and complete them within a timely manner (results oriented); Ability to make decisions with limited information. The mental and physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
Work Environment:
This is a non-smoking, professional manufacturing facility with normal lighting and climate control. This position may require one to move throughout the shop and office and may be subject to airborne contaminants and chemical odors as would be customary in an injection molding/ Precision Machining shop. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an individual encounters while performing the essential functions of this position.
Protective Clothing Required:
When in certain locations of the facility, eye and ear protection are required. Closed-toed/ Slip resistant shoes are also required in certain locations.
