Job Title:
Quality Inspector Job Description As a Quality Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in materials, products, and processes. You will be responsible for performing inspections, documenting results, notifying failures, and approving acceptable materials, products, and processes. Responsibilities Follow all documented procedures and instructions to perform inspections on materials, products, and processes. Clearly and accurately document inspection results, including computer data entry and filing documents in databases and cabinets. Notify the Quality Manager or their representative of any failure to meet specifications and document this on the Non-conforming Material Report. Enter data into Quality Logs such as Receiving Inspection, Non-conforming Material Report Log, First Article Inspection Log, and Quality Control Inspection Log. Provide approval for acceptable materials, products, and processes. Essential Skills 3-5 years of experience in a Quality Inspector role. Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office Excel and Word. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and inspection methods. Capable of working in a customer-focused, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; Spanish is a plus. Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and ability to deal with complexity. Work Environment The work environment is clean and operates from 7 AM to 3 PM. The role is an 8-12 week assignment focused on working through a backlog. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Malden, Massachusetts. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
