We are looking for a Welder 2 to join our team. A Welder 2 is responsible for performing MIG welding, layout, tacking, fabrication and building functions in the manufacture of various products in accordance with product specifications. Other combinations of formal training and experience will be considered. Successful completion of internal welding test is mandatory. 50/hour As a Welder 2, you will: Perform MIG welding tasks to Welding Procedures Specifications (WPS) Layout and tack to specifications Use grinder or other appropriate tools to clean, smooth out, grind or finish parts as needed Use various machines to fabricate, build, and design products Repair improperly welded pieces and fill holes Perform work at the appropriate pace to maintain quality and productivity requirements Role Qualifications as a Welder 2: High School diploma or equivalent Successful completion of internal welding test is mandatory Proficient knowledge in interpreting blueprints, mechanical drawings, and weld symbols Ability to operate hoists, cranes, and other powered industrial vehicles as needed Ability to operate various power and hand tools Knowledge of weld positioners, turners, fixtures and equipment
