POSITION SUMMARY
Experience operating equipment such as front-end loaders, skid steer loaders, haul trucks, crushers. Responsible for driving/operating heavy equipment vehicles to move rock products to selected intake crushing/screening site and deposit loads into intake areas. Accountability of the safe and timely transportation of loads to final destination.

Safe operation of mobile equipment (wheel loader, haul trucks & scrappers) Abide by all company policies and procedures Abide by all State and Federal laws Preventive Maintenance of Heavy Equipment Perform pre-shift inspection on vehicle prior to operation Fuel equipment as needed and properly log all fuel required Report or fix all items found during pre-shift inspection Perform preventive maintenance on truck when needed, with preventive maintenance being: Check & top off fluids Lubricate (grease) Tire maintenance (pressure & Visual inspection) Follow directions and follow the Nolanville mine plan Attend scheduled safety meetings Maintain a clean and safe work environment Complete Pre-shift inspections on any assigned Heavy Equipment and submit to Plant Operator Promote safety among co-workers utilizing BBS Follow all safety policies and procedures Perform all assigned work adhering to Company and governmental safety rules and regulations, including company lock out tag out procedures Quality Control Follow directions and dump mined ore in designated location as directed Report any deviations from the norm that might impact product quality or processing efficiencies Weigh truck and properly log weight of material hauled as required (SQF) Safe Quality Feed Fulfill all requirements and possess a Class A or B Commercial Driver's License Self-motivated and must be able to work independently Intimate working knowledge of State and Federal laws pertaining to operation of vehicles, specifically heavy trucks requiring a Commercial Driver's License Detailed knowledge and understanding of over the road heavy truck operation and safety requirements Must be capable of working shift work, overtime, seven days, or holidays, if needed. Able to lift over 50 pounds. Demonstrated skills heavy equipment operation a plus, but minimum as demonstrated for an over the road haul truck History of safe operation of vehicle as demonstrated on driving record Tolerate working outside in severe weather conditions as well as exposure to industrial high temperature, limestone, noise and dust. Access all areas within a site which could include heights of 120 feet, confined spaces, climbing ladders or stairs, and accessing tunnels. Able to lift 50 pounds. Work shift work, seven days a week including holidays and be flexible to schedule changes. Have a telephone and be open to overtime and call-outs High school diploma or GED equivalent. A minimum of 1-year experience.
