Lab Technician Responsibilities Include:

• Sets up and operates specialized test equipment to diagnose, test, and analyze the performance of one or more types of engines and/or accessory units
• Troubleshoots and adjusts components on parts and accessories during testing process. Liaisons with engineers, mechanics, and inspectors on test performance
• Documents and maintains records
• Keeps shop floor area clean and neat.
• Maintains and organizes tools, equipment and manuals.
• Researches technical manuals of particular vehicles in order to increase efficiency.
• Keeps abreast of technical updates and improvements relevant to the job.
• Other responsibilities might be assigned by upper management

Lab Technician Requirement Include:

• Associates degree in Mechanical technology or automotive technology field preferred High school diploma is a must
• Ability to work on the day shift and flexibility to work on the 2nd shift occasionally as needed (premium pay)
• Minimum of 1-2 years of hydraulic testing experience
• Minimum of 1-2 years of mechanical background
