Job Description

Master Refrigeration Tech - \$3000 Sign On Bonus Description Demonstrateadvanced or specialized skills in refrigeration system operation andmaintenance. Oversee the overall system functionality for thefacility\'s ammonia refrigeration system. Install and repair industrialand commercial refrigerating systems according to blueprints andengineering specifications, using knowledge of refrigeration, structurallayout, and function and design of components. Work with a limiteddegree of supervision and complete and/or provide guidance on complexproblems and/or new assignments. Function as the go-to subject matterresource for colleagues with less experience.
JOB DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES
? Maintain and perform preventative maintenanceactivities on ammonia refrigeration systems ? Complete accurate andtimely documentation of maintenance records ? Observe and test systemoperation, using gauges, and instruments ? Dismantle, assemble, andinstall refrigeration equipment ? Maintain communication with otherdepartments, management, and employees and notify them of any problemsand/or concerns that may restrict the efficiency of production ? Ensureall repairs are documented. Complete all paperwork clearly, legibly, andaccurately with required information. Document all required informationin accordance with standard operations procedures ? Assist inmaintaining parts and supplies inventory by reporting low supply levelsto supervisor ? Assist operators with training or troubleshooting tominimize equipment downtime ? Stay up to date on new products,equipment, technology and techniques ? Utilizing continuous improvementmindset, identify opportunities to improve processes ? Anticipate partsrequirements for the tasks, follow proper purchasing procedures, andacquire parts ahead of anticipated task performance ? Maintain safeworking conditions for employees and compliance with all state andfederal regulations regarding health and safety issues ? Follow all DFAgood manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent withall corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitationrequirements ? Otherduties may be assigned as required Pay based on experience, up to \$45an hour.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
? High school diploma or equivalent ?Graduation from trade school or technical school preferred in applicablefield of study ? 4 to 6 years of ammonia refrigeration systems orrelated experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment ?Certification and/or License - may be required during course ofemployment
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
? Advanced knowledge ofammonia refrigeration systems ? Able to inspect equipment, recognizepotential problems, and take appropriate corrective action to preventcomponent failures or equipment down time ? Able to use a variety ofmaintenance tools ? Able to perform complex or complicated maintenanceactivities/repairs independently ? Able to complete projects fromplanning to installation ? Able to present options and ideas to currentprocesses or procedures ? Able to adapt and manage to change effectively? Able to work effectively in a team environment ? Able to communicateclearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing ? Able to add,subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using wholenumbers, common fractions, and decimals ?
