Role Summary As the Accounts Receivable Representative , you will manage customer deductions through research, analysis with resolution of acceptance through issue credits or providing product documentation supporting a denial in processing to the customers. Ensure processing of deductions are compliant to Fellowes Credit Policies. Perform daily cash application tasks for assigned Canada Customers related to posting cash, application of customer payments and balancing cash journals. In This Role, You Will… Research/analyze customer return, DIF, Shortage and compliance fine deduction claims; create denials or process credit memos within designated authority levels, timely and accurately pursuant to primary responsibility Research and obtain supporting documentation of deduction claims for all deduction reasons and store within Oracle or Sharepoint for internal resources to access. Manage supporting documentation for any credits issued for deductions related to RMA, DIF, Shortage or fine compliance in accordance with corporate policies and audit requirements. Perform cash application adjustments/credit memos as needed/approved Administer daily remote deposits including scanning, balancing and reconciliations Perform daily cash posting/application of customer payments (load, post, apply) against open A/R, timely and accurately for specified Canada customers Collaborate with (in)external customers on issues pertaining to disputed balances. Identify and recommend process improvement opportunities for area Perform filing of related documents Perform special projects as assigned Collaborate effectively with (in)external customers on issues pertaining to deductions Back up for US Cash Application Representative What You Bring to the Team High school degree or equivalent required, Associate's degree desirable Minimum of 2 years' related experience Ability to resolve complex problems Work independently and accept direction from others Detail orientation and task driven Proficient in Excel and Adobe PDF software Proficient in use of Oracle, RetailLink, Amazon customer portal experience Experience with High Radius Cash Application and/or CashPro Process improvement focus/mindset Prudent decision maker, up to approved thresholds Collaborative, both with internal and external resources Ability to multi-task between cash application and deductions resolution The hiring range for this position in Itasca is $26-$30/hr. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and may also vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills and experience, among other factors.
