Braman Motorcars is currently seeking experienced Automotive Technicians for our BMW Dealership located in Jupiter, FL. The following are the essential functions of an Automotive Technician at
Braman Motorcars:
 Diagnose conditions using manufacture's special diagnostic equipment, electronic scanners, and test instruments.  Perform all diagnostic exclusively using the manufacture's Guided Fault Finding (GFF) procedures.  Record all such steps electronically as required by the manufacturer, including but not limited to any readings, measurements and fault codes.  Prepare and submit paper documentation as required by manufacturer.  Perform both mechanical and electronic adjustments to components as necessary.  Disassemble engines, transmissions and other mechanical components to repair or replace defective/worn parts.  Diagnose, repair, replace or adjust sub-assemblies such as steering, suspension system and brake system components.  Diagnose repair, replace or adjust electronic components such as sensors, motors and control modules.  Replace cosmetic assemblies such as convertible canvas tops and seat cushions/covers.  Replace windshields  Be familiar with factory recommended maintenance schedules.  Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on vehicles.  Maintain applicable licenses and certifications as required by the State of Florida.  Maintain factory training certifications as required by the vehicle manufacturer.  Purchase and maintain all hand and power tools required to perform all duties as an automotive technician.  Clean and maintain work area.  Effectively communicate with other dealership personnel.  A technician must be able to get in and out of cars  Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds  Job requires stooping, bending, laying on back, crawling, reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling to perform the essential functions.
