We are seeking a Junior Nuclear Designer Energy - Remote/Hybrid. This Remote/Hybrid position is based out of our Richland, WA office. Candidates located in the Tri-City area of Richland, WA area, will work a hybrid schedule. Remote is an option for those who do not live in the Tri-City Richland, WA area. AtkinsRéalis has the depth and breadth of expertise to respond to the most technically challenging and time-critical infrastructure projects and the urgent transition to a low-carbon economy. How will you contribute to the team? Develops and produces drawings and designs for facilities, systems and equipment with adherence to established specifications and standards using computer-aided design software (CAD) such as Revit, AutoCAD, SolidWorks or Inventor. Specifically, SolidWorks 2024 and Revit 2025 are currently being used. Performs all work safely, ensuring that safety is an integral element embodied in equipment design and specification. Develops documents in accordance with company policies and procedures. Works with the engineering team in the development of Mechanical 3D design models and orthographic drawings, intelligent piping and instrumentation diagram (P&ID) documentation, facility layouts and Civil, Electrical & Instrumentation (CE&I) system diagrams and drawings. Works in a multidisciplinary team. Selects hardware and materials as required by the Project, with guidance from engineers. Develops and maintains red-line documents (ECN's, FCN's etc.). Works under close supervision. Not expected to exercise independent judgment. Works under the guidance of experienced designer. Performs other duties as assigned. What will you contribute? Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate's degree in CAD or related subject preferred. Requires two (2) years' experience. Five (5) years' experience preferred. Basic 3D CAD skills in SolidWorks or Revit. Effective communication skills. Basic knowledge of Microsoft office. Must be a U.S citizen in order to be considered.
