As one of the Senior Fabricators in Dynapower's Sheet Metal department, you are responsible for all aspects of sheet metal fabrication and the manufacturing of enclosures and panels for our product lines from raw materials. You're great at MIG/TIG welding and using a variety of fabrication equipment, and know how to read and use engineering prints. This is a full-time position with flexible hours, $20-30 per hour start rates, a $2000 signing bonus, and all benefits starting on Day 1! On an average day, you'll Use technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine fabrication methods and material requirements. Measure, cut, and shape raw materials such as metal sheets, bars, or pipes to specified dimensions using hand tools and precision equipment such as punching machines, shears, and bending machines. Use welding techniques (MIG, TIG, etc.) and other joining methods to assemble fabricated parts into finished products. Safely set up, operate, and maintain fabrication machinery and tools, ensuring equipment is in good working condition. Inspect finished components for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to quality standards. Work closely with team members, engineers, and production supervisors to optimize workflow and improve production processes. Put safety first, all day every day. What You Need To High school diploma or equivalent Technical training or certification in metal fabrication, welding, or a related field preferred Skills in using cutting tools, welding equipment, and other fabrication machinery Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications Ability to perform precise measurements and maintain high quality standards Knowledge of industry safety standards and practices, with a proven track record of adhering to safety guidelines What We Do At Dynapower, we've been helping solve some of the toughest power conversion challenges on the planet for over 60 years. What's In It For You The pay range for this role is $20 to $30 per hour. Your final compensation will depend on your level of experience in similar roles. This role routinely uses standard personal protective equipment such as required Safety Glasses and Safety shoes, as well as head and hearing protection and gloves, as required.
