Aerotek Mechanic in Honolulu , Hawaii Hiring Full-Time Mechanics with mechanical and electrical repair skills 

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled General Mechanic to join our team. The role involves maintaining and repairing various machinery and equipment, diagnosing mechanical issues, and performing routine maintenance. A 12-week training program for the rolling stock position is provided.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical issues. Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections). Use diagnostic tools and technical manuals. Repair/replace defective parts in engines, transmissions, etc. Maintain detailed maintenance records. Communicate with equipment operators. Ensure a clean and safe work environment. Assist with new equipment installation.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a General Mechanic or similar role. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems. Ability to use diagnostic tools and read technical manuals. Excellent problem-solving skills. Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy parts. High school diploma or equivalent; vocational certification preferred. Valid driver's license.

Work Environment:

Flexibility for shift rotation, weekends, and holidays.

Shift schedules:

1st shift (3am - 11:30pm), 2nd shift (11pm-7:30am), 3rd shift (7pm-3:30am). #AerojobsHawaii Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $27.81 - $30.53/yr.
