As an Independent Agency we write personal, commercial, and life insurance policies with multiple partner carriers across much of the Mid-West and South-East. Agents enjoy a generous base salary, new business commissions, and renewal commissions. As you grow with Meridian, so does your income due to your renewals from past polices written.   • A state insurance license and sales experience is highly preferred but we will train the right candidates.
  • Spanish speaking or bilingual agents do very well with Meridian due to our multitude of products offered for their clientele.
  • Sales experience is highly preferred 2. Skills
  • The ability to use navigate technology and learn new quoting systems and platforms.
  • Problem solving and risk management.
  • Personable and enjoys working with others and on teams. Having existing networks/referral sources is preferred. Responsibilities
  • Prospect new potential clients, having detailed conversations regarding their insurance needs.
  • Build Relationships with referral partners, targeting people of influence in your community
  • Making sales presentations to clients and closing new business
  • Providing top tier customer service to new and existing clients.
