Shift Notes:

80 Hours Per 2 Week Pay Period 7:30am

• 4:00pm The Medical Assistant supports patient care and clinic operations by managing customer flow, assisting providers, and performing delegated clinical tasks.

They care for a diverse patient population across all age groups and collaborate closely with nurses, providers, and clinic leadership. Their role is guided by the scope of practice defined by medical and nursing boards, with a strong emphasis on teamwork, communication, and meeting care goals.

Clinical Care:

Provide telephone support Facilitate communication between customers and providers Assist with prescription refills Perform x-ray duties as assigned if individual has passed the x-ray operator exam Perform phlebotomy duties Perform clinic laboratory tests

Clinic Support:

Submission Requirements Education:

High School graduate or equivalent (i.e. GED) required. Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program required, on the job experience or training, and participation in a registration program conducted by an accredited by a national health services organization, such as American Medical Technologists, and passing the credentialing exam

• Required Medical Assistant certification
• Required Previous experience in a clinical setting
• Required Passed x-ray operator's examination or willing to take exam according to individual clinic needs.

Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks in an efficient manner. Knowledge of and skill in using computer software applications.
