Mobile Heavy Equipment Technician Lift Solutions, Inc. - 2.7 Sioux Falls, SD Job Details Full-time $23 - $35 an hour 7 hours ago Qualifications ASE Certification Equipment repair Customer service Mid-level High school diploma or GED Assembly Driver's License Vehicle maintenance HVAC Industrial equipment Diesel Mechanic Certification Automotive diagnostics Hand tools Communication skills Mechanical knowledge Full Job Description Forklift and Heavy Equipment Repair Travel to customer locations (in company provided vehicle) to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair lift trucks and other equipment. You will also perform Planned Maintenance inspections. Perform safety and operational tests on equipment to ensure safe operations. Confer with customer and review recommended repairs to provide follow up repairs. Estimate or quote repair costs through our parts department. Place parts orders and complete repair paperwork via tablet. Maintain Service Van and Inventory Perform minor repairs to the van such as replacing windshield wipers. Service the van by changing engine oil & filter, air filter, rotating tires, checking tire pressure, and other minor repairs according to schedule. Major repairs performed at dealership or by 3rd party. Maintain all safety equipment supplied with the van. Maintain accurate parts inventory levels in compliance with Lift Solutions guidelines. Miscellaneous Tasks Minimum Qualifications This position requires a high school diploma along with prior work related experience. A valid driver license is required as well as good communications and interpersonal skills. Technical repair knowledge is a necessity. Complete and submit required paperwork such as time cards via ADP system. Communicate customer satisfaction information and sales leads to the appropriate personnel. Complete all training as required.

You will be reporting to the Field Service Manager and branch dispatcher. You will utilize your core skills in automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and vehicle maintenance to provide high-quality service. Your premium experience with forklifts and industrial equipment will enhance our operational efficiency. Strong communication skills and a commitment to customer service are essential as you interact with clients and address their needs effectively.
