POSITION SUMMARY
Managed Service Provider (MSP) setting up businesses IT using a wide array of technologies. We deal mainly with Small and Medium Business (SMB) clients and manage their IT infrastructure from Security, Cloud, Servers, Routers/Firewalls, Desktops, and mobile platforms. We are their IT department. Because we deal with many different clients we deal with a large variety of different technologies and offer the opportunity to learn and grow. Join our team as a Technical Support Specialist and be part of a dynamic IT support team that provides exceptional service to our customers.
Responsibilities:
Demonstrates exceptional technical skills and professional interpersonal skills. Configure, Install, deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain Networks, Security, MS Servers, Windows and Mac desktops, laptops, and mobile devices. Be responsive to customer needs
  • Remote helpdesk and onsite support.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and technical solutions in the ticketing system (e.g., ConnectWise).
Requirements:
Must be passionate about technology and helping people Fast problem resolution, implementation, and break/fix, (networks, servers, desktops, smartphones, tablets) Have the ability to research online, work through problems, and document Explain computer-related issues in a non-threatening matter to non-technical clients MCSE/CCNA/CISSP or equivalent experience preferred
Technical Knowledge:
Security
  • Experienced with security analysis, design (CSF), Incident Handler/Responder, vulnerability and pen testing. Understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS)
  • Configure, implement, and troubleshooting techniques, and security principles. Firewalls & Routers
  • Configure, implement, troubleshoot and maintain. Windows Servers
  • Configure, implement, troubleshoot and maintain. Proficiency in managing user accounts and permissions in Active Directory Cloud based Servers (Azure/Entra, AWS)
  • Configure, implement, troubleshoot and maintain. Proficiency in virtualization technologies. Analyze system logs and network traffic to identify and resolve issues. Microsoft Windows and Mac operating systems and network connectivity. Proficiency in Email systems
  • Microsoft/Office 365, MS Exchange on-prem, Google, etc… Proficiency in Microsoft Office and desktop applications. Antimalware Software (AV, EDR, MDR, XDR)
  • repairing virus and spyware infected systems Backup and Recovery
  • On Premise and Cloud based Setup and configuration of Mobile Devices
  • Apple iPhones & iPads, Androids, and/or other smartphones Knowledge of computer hardware installation, diagnostics, and troubleshooting Knowledge of
