THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Fiscal Technician I, your primary responsibilities will include processing payments according to established policies and procedures, handling morning and afternoon wires, and assisting in clearing general ledger journals. You will also respond to external agency email requests with accurate information while providing exceptional customer service. Our ideal candidate is a highly organized team player with excellent attention to detail.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
+ Full-time employment + Work hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch. +
Telework:
You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time. Management may discontinue the telework arrangement at any time, for any reason. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office. +

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
+ One year as a Fiscal Assistant or three years of work involving the maintenance of fiscal or financial records, including one year of responsible work which involves the application of accounting or fiscal principles and practices; and graduation from high school; or one year of experience in maintaining and reviewing fiscal records and an Associate degree in accounting or business administration;or + An equivalent combination of experience and training
Additional Requirements:
+ You must have experience using Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook, web-based utilities. + You must be able to perform essential job functions. Preferred Qualifications (not required): + Experience using PeopleSoft + Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently on assignments
