JOB DESCRIPTION JOB GOAL
To implement, monitor, and maintain an organized and accurate system of position control/management, integrated with budgeting, allocation and FTE reporting.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma required. Associate's degree or 60+ college credit hours preferred. Three (3) or more years of relevant experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices. Demonstrate the ability to perform mathematical and statistical computations accurately. Possess excellent communication skills and proficiency in the use of word processing and spreadsheet applications. Knowledge of business, research, and statistical methods and techniques. Communicate effectively, orally and in writing, using positive interpersonal skills. Demonstrate ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with all stakeholders. Organize, prioritize, manage, and carry out duties efficiently and within established timeframes. Ability to analyze and explain objectives, plans, and details of position/management control system to administration/personnel.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage employment transactions as provided by School Board policy and procedures. Oversee and coordinate the position control function of the school district. Work cooperatively and effectively with District Office staff, school staff, and the public. Track all instructional, vocational, and operational positions within position management. Monitor, analyze, and control budget expenditures by checking employee requisitions against approved allocations prior to employee authorization. Create position status report for periodic review as requested by executive leadership. Monitor, analyze, and maintain an accurate accounting of positions as provided by Allocation Administrator. Create and maintain personnel requisitions for filling of vacancies and budget accountability. Create and maintain PeopleSoft Position Management tables. Input data and make changes to existing databases. Verify outdated data and make any necessary changes to records. Respond to inquiries and concerns in a timely manner. Keep supervisor informed of potential concerns or unusual issues. Represent the District in a positive and professional manner. Prepare or oversee the preparation of all required reports, and maintain all appropriate records within position management. Demonstrate initiative in identifying opportunities for improvement. Perform other tasks consistent with the goals and objectives of this position.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Light Work:
Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force as frequently as needed to move objects.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Salary and benefits shall be paid consistent with the District's approved compensation plan. Length of the work year and hours of employment shall be those established by the District.

Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on evaluation of personnel.
