Prolink is pleased to announce a collaborative opportunity with a well-established company in Covington, KY , operating within the food manufacturing industry . They are currently seeking an Ammonia and Refrigeration Technician to join their team. PAY:
$27-31/HR ($0.50 Shift Differential for 2nds and 3rds) 10-15 hours/week

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
•2 or more years of experience: Must currently hold Ammonia Operator I or equivalent certification. Performing pump rebuilds, sensor calibrations, and PM's on Vilter and Frick compressors Performing ammonia pump outs safely. Micro troubleshooting Ability to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions. Past Ammonia Refrigeration and Utilities Technician titles/work. Mechanical skills and aptitude. Mechanical systems, utilizing product manuals, troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns, and reading mechanical drawings. Basic Computer skills and the ability to run various computer applications such as: Microsoft Office Products, and CMMS program . Must be able to do mathematical calculations . Reading and interpreting mechanical and electrical diagrams . Basic Electrical knowledge to include NFPA 70e requirements .
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Must be able to successfully complete the Boiler Operator I certification within 18 months of job assignment. Must be able to successfully complete the Ammonia Operator II certification within 18 months of job assignment. Able to lift up to 50lbs.
Education:
High school or Equivalent. Be willing to complete drug and background checks.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform preventive maintenance on utilities equipment. Troubleshoot and repair ammonia refrigeration, HVAC, Boiler, Steam, Domestic Water, Chemical, and condenser systems. Maintain logbooks. Focus on safety, quality, and GMP's. Execute work orders on time and in proper order of priority. Calibration of any equipment and instruments . Keep work areas clean and tidy during and after. Manage plant utilities systems such as: plant refrigeration, boilers, HVAC, compressed air, Waste water treatment plant, water chemical systems, and domestic water systems. Contribute to the installation of major plant process and utility equipment/projects.
