WHAT THE ROLE DOES

Adhere to all safety policies and practices, including wearing all personal protective equipment (PPE). Interpret blueprints, drawings and measurements to plan layouts. Align and clamp work pieces together or position items in fixtures or jigs. Monitor the welding, burning, and fitting process to ensure parts are not overheated or damaged by warping, distortion, expansion or shrinkage. Adhere to production schedule. Grind, cut, buff or bend edges of work-pieces to be joined to ensure snug fit using power grinders and hand tools. Inspect final product for quality assurance. Maintain, organize and clean equipment and the work area.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS

High School diploma or equivalent required. 4+ years of experience of Aluminum MIG Welding with a push/pull gun in a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and understand blueprints and designs. Ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance. Local to Anderson, Henderson, Kaufman and Van Zandt counties within an hour or less commute. Highly ethical, positive culture addition, self-motivated.
