Work Summary Plumber II Technicians will independently assemble, install, alter, and repair pipelines or pipe systems that carry water, steam, air, or other liquids or gases. May install heating and cooling equipment and mechanical control systems. Duties include using, supplying, or handling materials, tools, and equipment necessary to accomplish essential duties. Will perform under the supervision of Plumber III. May be assisted by Plumber I technicians. Essential Duties Duties of the Plumber II technician position include but are not limited to all essential duties of Plumber I technician, and these additional duties: Memorize and uphold our company Mission Statement and Core Values. Field estimating. Hydro-jetting. Snaking and clearing sewer and storm drains. Operating pipe cameras, tracing and mapping lines. Install/replace/maintain plumbing or piping. Troubleshooting, repair or replacement of toilets, sinks, urinals, water bibs, faucets, drinking fountains, drains, sewers, Drain clearing and inspecting, etc. Excavating and trenching by hand or with equipment. Jack hammering, saw cutting and removing of concrete, asphalt, and hard pan surfaces. Working on, with or around sewer, water and gas lines. Descaling.
Requirements/Qualifications:
High school diploma. Valid California Driver's License. 2 years of work-related skills, knowledge, or experience a plus. 2 years of experience working with experienced employees may be substituted with a recognized apprenticeship program. Related experience must include plumbing, some electrical, mechanical, basic carpentry, painting, dry wall repair, door and hardware repair, and be reasonably familiar with other trades and general building maintenance practices as required in a commercial and industrial real estate setting. Previous supervisor experience as a Maintenance Manager, Supervisor or Lead Technician in a commercial or industrial facility preferred. Must pass both federal and/or customer required background checks if applicable. Must pass customer required drug screenings if applicable.Benefits:
