In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and contributing to a positive shopping experience. You will play a key role in driving sales through effective communication and product knowledge. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. Provide knowledgeable product demonstrations to enhance customer understanding and engagement. Utilize effective upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for transactions and returns. Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring products are stocked and displayed correctly. Assist in managing inventory levels through regular stock checks and replenishment as needed. Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries or concerns over the phone. Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work environment. Experience Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. Experience in supervising or training new staff is a plus. Familiarity with retail math concepts to assist in inventory management and sales reporting is beneficial. A background in grocery store operations or product demos will be advantageous for this position.
