Role:

We're looking for a motivated Technician to join our heavy equipment service team. This is a hands-on, entry-level position ideal for someone eager to learn and grow in the heavy equipment industry. You'll assist in basic maintenance, repairs, and inspections on various types of equipment under the guidance of experienced technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in performing routine maintenance and minor repairs on heavy equipment (excavators, loaders, dozers, etc.) Help with inspections, cleaning, and organizing tools and equipment Maintain a clean and safe work environment Follow all company safety policies and procedures Support senior technicians as needed on job assignments

Requirements:

Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs Basic mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn Reliable transportation and strong work ethic High school diploma or equivalent preferred Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods

Travel to job sites for in field diagnosis and repairs may be required. CAT ET software experience preferred. Must be able to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, and order parts necessary for repairs. Approach all aspects of the job from a safety first perspective and with a positive attitude. Must be willing and able to comply with company, customer, and government policies and procedures.

Physical Requirements :

- Ability to work a rotating schedule and/or varying shifts. Ability to work any shift, holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed. Ability to pass pre-employment physical. Regularly required to use hands, fingers, and feet in a coordinated effort to move levers, depress foot pedals, and turn dials to operate power machinery. Specific vision abilities required, including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Frequently ascends or descends ladders, stairs, elevated walkways, ramps and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms.
