Field Operations Training Coordinator Administrative, Bureau of Emergency Field Operations
DEPT OF HEALTH/MENTAL HYGIENE

$71,979.00- $78,840.
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO
- This position will have the following primary duties, but not limited to: Design and develop emergency field operations training programs and associated materials.
- Coordinate and manage the delivery of training programs.
- Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, techniques and best practices.
- Work closely with the emergency field operations planners and external stakeholders to ensure training program is up to date and complies with current response plans.
- Assist in the development and implementation of a training program evaluation framework.
- Monitor employee performance and compliance to training programs.
- Serve as lead facilitator for all trainings and spearhead facilitator recruitment, onboarding and engagement.
- Assist in the development and implementation of a facilitator evaluation program.
- Serve in an emergency role for a public health emergency, as needed.
- Participate in Bureau-led emergency drills and exercises.
PREFERRED SKILLS
- 1-2 years of training experience or instructional design and development
- 1-2 years of experience working in emergency management
- Exceptional writing, communications and interpersonal skills
- Excellent presentation, group facilitation and public speaking abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
- Creative and strategic problem-solving capabilities
- Experience working in emergency management
- Familiarity with LMS platforms such as Articulate360 and Samaritan Why you should work for us:
