U.S. Citizenship is required. DHS Secret Clearance RequiredSupport our federal client's systems and mission-critical systems throughoperations support, technology innovation, management services, systemmaintenance, and the development and implementation of new software solutions

What You'll Be Doing:

Specific Responsibilities:

Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and maintain Unix/Linux serversand related software using management systems such as APT and RPM.Monitor and document system performance.

Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, support the uptime ofthe system.

Implement, manage, and coordinate backup, recovery, and failover processes.

Apply security patches and implement measures such as firewalls(iptables, firewalld, etc.) Work directly with the security team onvulnerability mitigation.

Manage user accounts and group policies.

Configure network interfaces, routings, and VLANs.

Develop and maintain manual and automated scripts for system monitoring,procedures, and changes.

Provide technical support for our users. Support the helpdesk in resolvinginquiries and incidents.

Work collaboratively with other cross-functional team to support the system.

Requirements:

Active Secret clearance is required.

Due to agency and contract requirements, candidates must be U.S. citizenswith no dual citizenship.

This contract supports systems that require 24x7x365 uptime. Candidates mustbe willing and able to meet recall requirements, including participation ina rotational on-call schedule.

Telework:

Candidates must reside within a commutable distance and beavailable to work onsite at the customer's discretion. This includes beingon-site during the transition period..This individual must be able to accommodate a rotational on-call schedule asneeded.

At least 7 years of experience working as a system admin on Unix/Linuxsystems. Related experience is acceptable.

Our estimated salary range for this position is $60,000-$75,000. Thispresented salary range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Offeredsalary is based on education, experience, geographic location, andpossibly contractual requirements as appropriate to the role. •Salary couldfall outside of this range.
