DevOps Engineer (Remote) Job Description We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to oversee the design and implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaaC) in consultation with our Lead DevOps Engineer and Architects. You will lead projects from design through implementation and deployment, ensuring best practices in IaaC and Containerization are followed. This role requires confidence, effective communication, and a willingness to work in a dynamic, evolving environment. Responsibilities Oversee IaaC design and implementation in consultation with Lead DevOps Engineer and Architects. Lead projects from design through implementation and deployment. Articulate and implement best practices in IaaC and Containerization. Work within a small, developing team to drive process and technology maturity. Mentor and coach junior software developers, helping them gain experience and assume DevOps responsibilities. Essential Skills Automation using Ansible, Python, and Terraform. Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, TravisCI, CircleCI, Jenkins). Knowledge of application logging, containerization/microservices architecture. Proficiency with Kubernetes and Docker. Experience with AWS services including IAM, EKS, and S3. 3+ years of core DevOps experience. Proficiency in authoring and deploying Helm charts. Architectural knowledge and experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with JavaScript/Typescript/Node/Angular is a plus. Nice to have experience with Ruby on Rails and Angular. Work Environment This position is remote and requires US citizenship. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
