Job Description
Accounts Receivable Coordinator Krier & Blain, Inc. 1207 West Delaware Street, Sioux Falls, SD 57104 Job Overview Krier & Blain is looking for a responsible, hard-working individual for an Accounts Receivable Coordinator position. As the Accounts Receivable Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating invoices, maintaining customer files, and assisting the Controller to reconcile accounts, while providing clerical and administrative support to management. This is a permanent full-time position with benefits. Salary is negotiable depending on experience. A drug and alcohol screening will be conducted prior to employment.
RESPONSIBITIES
- Create invoices according to company practices; submit invoices to customers.
- Maintains and updates customer files, including name or address changes, mergers, or mailing attentions.
- Assist in answering phones and welcoming visitors to the office.
- Prepares, posts, verifies, and records customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.
- Drafts correspondence for standard past-due accounts and collections, and identifies delinquent accounts by reviewing files.
- Research customer discrepancies and past-due amounts with the assistance of the Controller and other staff.
- Performs other related duties, as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities
- Ability to use accounting software to record, store, and analyze financial data.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills. Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree or vocational school training preferred.
- At least two years of bookkeeping, accounting, or finance industry experience preferred.
