We build and manage custom web portals for very large companies in the US to manage prescription safety eyewear programs in North America.
The Role:
This person will help with the very critical product delivery and fulfullment of the company - from order placement to product delivery, including customer service. This person has a highly critical role in the business and is dedicated to ensuring the best possible journey for customer. This person is trained and knowledgeable about optics, our products/services and provides excellent customer service. 3 years prior industry (optical) experience AND must thrive on software tools - Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs Measure patients/customers for their eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through continous training and development to ensure eyewear is Right the First Time. May troubleshoot eyewear needs as necessary Provide feedback on Eyeweb functionality for improvements to ease and efficiency for customers and employees. We are always looking to improve our operational procedures. Help employees place orders. Troubleshoot difficult orders. Help set up new customers. Help assemble final product by inserting lenses into frames and packaging the shipment. Review RMA's and make recommendations on how to improve. Work with Service team to make improvements. We are looking for a long term person that wants to grow with us.Qualifications:
3 years optical experience necessary Experience in a lab, assembling glasses plus customer facing experience. Must enjoy talking to customers and helping them using online tools. HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience Excellent Microsoft skills A willingness to learn new software applications including CRM, shipping software, and Eyeweb website. Must enjoy working in a digital world as Eyeweb is 100% online. Must enjoy technology/computers or we are not the right fit for you. Some management experience. Must be able to improve processes and enjoy doing things better. Someone who likes to change things for the better. What we offer! NO weekends OR evenings! 8:30 to 5PM.FREE EYEWEAR
