Summary:
UNC Health is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Applications Developer. This critical role will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of our enterprise-wide PACS and related imaging systems. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of clinical imaging workflows and have extensive experience with Sectra
IDS7, DICOM
Systems Unifier DICOM Router, Hyland Acuo VNA, and other related imaging applications. Responsibilities include : Administer, maintain, and support the Sectra
IDS7 PACS, DICOM
Systems Unifier DICOM Router, and associated imaging applications Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to software, hardware, and network connectivity. Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and other clinical staff to ensure optimal system performance. Implement application upgrades, patches, and enhancements including the oversight of system security patches and interventions. Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve potential issues. Develops and maintains support documentation, provide technical training and consultation to teammates. Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support. Manage small to intermediate PACS projects and initiatives. Work closely with vendors to resolve technical issues, escalate problems, and track fixes into releases.

Windows Server Preferred Certifications:

Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or related field (or equivalent combination of education, training and experience).
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
No licensure or certification required.
Professional Experience Requirements:
If a Bachelor's degree: Eight (8) years of progressive experience in computer programming and applications analysis. If an Associate's degree: Twelve (12) years of progressive experience in computer programming and applications analysis. If a High School diploma or
GED:
Sixteen (16) years of progressive experience in computer programming and applications analysis.
Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
Excellent analytical and communication skills. Ability to work well in a team environment. Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Highly responsive to internal customers. Job Details
