The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. Our small local business focuses on top quality craftsmanship and customer service. As a result, our service area is small and our customer base is large. Responsibilities Assemble and install plumbing systems, including pipes, fittings, fixtures, and water heaters. Perform pipe threading, soldering and snaking. Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues or necessary repairs. Interact directly with home owners to give a clear and honest assessment of plumbing problems and remedies. Assist in some remodeling projects by building and installing new plumbing features according to specifications. Troubleshoot plumbing problems and provide effective solutions in a timely manner. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. Qualifications Proven experience as a Plumbing Technician or similar role is preferred. Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and equipment. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks. Familiarity with construction site practices and safety regulations. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various settings. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential. A valid driver's license is required for travel between job sites.
