Such as Shell Press, Liners, Conversion Press, Robotic Systems. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Ability to work with tolerances of up to ± .00005. Ability to demonstrate skills relating to tool and die work, use of micrometers, calipers, torque wrenches. Complete all required paperwork or other documentation such as logs, check sheets, etc. Perform the required Quality Checks to ensure that the process complies and take appropriate measures. Record completion of Quality Checks in the appropriate quality system. Keep and maintain records and files, prepare reports, order parts and supplies for equipment related to their roles and responsibilities. Ability to work independently within parameters set by management. Follow and ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and the current Food Safety System. Perform preventive maintenance as established by the maintenance program to ensure optimum equipment performance and minimal downtime. Responsible for replenishing supplies, materials, parts, and tooling required for assigned area. Complies with environmental regulations when using, dispensing, or handling hazardous and non-hazardous materials and wastes. Remove finished products from the production areas ensuring proper identification, banding, and labeling to meet customer specifications. Disassembles, overhauls, and rebuilds production equipment as required. Performs troubleshooting on production equipment as required. Performs on-the-job training and development of assigned personnel.
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Analysis and self-learning capacity. Extreme attention to detail. Strong problem-solving skills. Working knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics. Basic knowledge of how electrical components work. Ability to use precision measurement devices. Regular, consistent and on-time attendance is required. Able to effectively communicate in English.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to: Work requires sitting, standing, and/or walking for periods of five hours or more, moving and examining objects at high and low reach, and reading for periods of three hours or more. Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds occasionally and regularly stand, stoop, reach, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb and balance. This position also requires manual dexterity/fine motor skills. Ability to work up to twelve (12) hours shift, frequent overtime may also be required.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED. At least two years of related experience is required.
