Information Technology Full Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Applications Analyst to join our IT team. This role is essential for supporting IT objectives, including business processes, systems, and clients. Summary of Responsibilities As an Applications Analyst, you will serve as a technical expert within IT, supporting daily operations and participating in project teams. Your responsibilities will include administration, maintenance, operations support, solution design, configuration changes, testing, deployment support, technical documentation, and troubleshooting. You will interact with departments across Fayetteville Public Works Commission, as well as with internal and external customers and suppliers. The role requires a technical understanding and experience of enterprise applications, including knowledge of databases, WebLogic type middleware, basic data, and integrations. You should have experience in change management, software development lifecycle, software troubleshooting, and working with Oracle support. Required Skills/Abilities Experience managing and configuring business applications. Experience with customer information and/or enterprise asset management systems. Experience in researching problems, maintenance, or enhancements. Experience with Oracle support, including the creation of Oracle Service Requests. Prior experience in the administration, configuration, implementation, and operational support of applications. Knowledge of Oracle Utilities Applications, such as C2M or WACS, is a plus. Knowledge in software implementation practices, including the System Development Life Cycle, Data Lifecycle Management, and Change Management. Thorough knowledge of safety and security rules, regulations, and procedures. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, including technical documentation. Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with customers, vendors, and contractors. Minimum Qualifications Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field and a minimum of eight years of progressively responsible applications analysis experience OR Graduation from an accredited two-year community/technical college with an associate's degree in computer technology, information systems technology, or a related field and a minimum of twelve years of progressively responsible experience as defined above OR Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and a minimum of sixteen years of progressively responsible experience as defined above OR An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience as defined above. Must be familiar with any core area of Oracle Fusion. Special Requirements Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
