LOCATION
: Newington, CTWORK SCHEDULE
: Monday- Friday; 8:30 am
- 5:00 pm SUMMARY The primary responsibility of this position is to identify and oversee engineering projects that will improve production efficiency in all aspects of Data-Mail Production by implementing new equipment, processes, procedures and/or designs created through process improvement initiatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Responsible for electrical, electronic and/or mechanical upgrades and/or improvements, and repairs on:- Envelope machinery
- Laser Printers
- Bindery high speed cutting, folding, and finishing equipment
- High-speed inserting equipment
- Lettershop high technology inkjet printers
- Pick and Place machines 2.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma Four-year college degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering preferred 5 years of supervisory and related experience in high-speed automation in manufacturing Experience in mail processing or equivalent is a plus.COMPETENCIES
