The Eugene Water & Electric Board (EWEB) is looking for a highly motivated Electric Utility Operations Coordinator who is excited to join a high performing team. This position will respond to a variety of inquiries from customers, contractors, EWEB crews and other EWEB departments. Key duties include, but are not limited to: Coordinates, schedules and dispatches electric operation staff. Utilizes Outage Management System, High Volume Call-taking System, GIS and system maps and drawings to facilitate power restoration. Prioritizes, prepares and distributes daily work schedule for Troubleshooters, Service Crew and Field Technicians Assists supervisors, techs and crew leaders in planning and coordinating maintenance and capital work. Creates, calculates and prepares invoices for billable projects Responds to complaints or requests for service as appropriate related to equipment, maintenance, policies/procedures and service area questions. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and robust computer skills. The selected candidate will have experience with and the ability to balance a fast-paced work environment, be detail-oriented, resourceful, independently seek out answers to questions, take initiative, be team-focused, have strong interpersonal skills and an ability to multi-task and shift priorities frequently in an ever-changing environment. Candidates must be comfortable providing in the moment technical feedback in a constructive and professional way. The starting salary for this position is between $71,405 - $86,085 annually, commensurate with knowledge, skills, education, and experience as it relates to the position. Minimum Training & Experience Required:
Minimum Experience:
Three years' experience in utility/construction operations, engineering, or customer service.
Equivalency:
An equivalent combination of experience and training that demonstrates the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be qualifying such as experience using maintenance management software or other related software systems and/or maintenance or construction-crew scheduling.
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent and two years of college or vocational training or equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered qualifying.
Preferred experience and training:
Experience working with utility, construction trades and/or an electrical background.
Professional license or registration:
