Talent & Client Coordinator LawMates, LLC Royal Oak, MI 48067 • Hybrid work Overview LawMates is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Legal Talent & Client Coordinator to join our growing legal staffing and training company. This hybrid role is based in Michigan and offers the opportunity to shape the hiring and client experience at an early-stage startup. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and confident with outreach and relationship-building. You'll play a key role in sourcing legal talent, supporting client acquisition, and managing placements from start to finish. Duties Conduct outreach to attorneys and legal professionals via phone, email, and LinkedIn Source, screen, and interview candidates for legal assistant roles Enroll individuals into LawMates Academy and track training progress Coordinate onboarding, start dates, and post-placement follow-ups Assist with preparing proposals, pricing summaries, and intake forms Maintain accurate records of candidate and client activity in Asana Schedule and support discovery calls with potential clients Prepare weekly performance updates and track placement pipeline activity Flag bottlenecks and opportunities for growth or improvement in the process Assist with coordinating logistics for Michigan-based events and in-person meetings Skills Comfortable with outbound communication, including phone calls and follow-ups Experience with recruiting, staffing, or client services strongly preferred Familiarity with applicant tracking systems or project management tools (e.g., Asana) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through independently Professional and personable—able to build trust with both clients and candidates Based in Michigan with availability for occasional in-person events
Compensation & Benefits Salary:
Starting at $42,000/year (salaried, exempt)
