You will be responsible for operating and programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) to inspect and measure precision components. Your expertise will help us maintain our high standards of quality and meet the specifications outlined by our clients.
Responsibilities:
Set up, calibrate, and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines to perform measurements on various components accurately. Conduct thorough inspections of parts, ensuring they meet the required quality standards and tolerances. Identify and report any defects or deviations from specifications. Analyze measurement data, interpret results, and generate detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders. Work closely with production teams, engineers, and quality control staff to resolve any quality issues and implement corrective actions. Maintain accurate records of inspections, measurements, and calibration activities. Ensure all documentation is organized and readily accessible. Adhere to safety protocols, quality standards, and relevant regulations while performing CMM operations.
PPAP Coordination Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certification in metrology is a plus. Proven experience operating and programming Coordinate Measuring Machines. Proficiency in CMM software and related tools. Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and measurement techniques. Attention to detail and accuracy in measurements. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Knowledge of quality control processes and methodologies.
