Police Officer (Recruit) City of Williamsburg, VA 401 Lafayette St, Williamsburg, VA 23185 The Williamsburg Police Department is seeking applicants for the position of Police Officer Recruit. This position is responsible for attending training at the criminal justice training academy and successfully completing all practical and written tests and requirements as established by the academy and the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services. Upon satisfactory completion of the training, and graduation from the academy, the Police Officer Recruit will be sworn in as a Police Officer with full police authority. Failure to graduate from the academy within the prescribed training period will be cause for termination. Completed applications must be received by 4:00 p.m. on February 28, 2024. Testing will be help in the Stryker Building on March 3, 8, 13, and 15th.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent; and No experience required

Special Qualifications:
