Key Responsibilities:

Rack Refrigeration System Installation:

Assemble, position, and connect components of rack refrigeration units in grocery store environments. Install associated control systems and ensure all wiring, piping, and connections meet safety and quality standards.

System Startup:

Perform initial startups, verify proper operation, and troubleshoot any immediate installation issues. Test system performance and fine-tune settings to ensure optimal functionality.

Compliance and Documentation:

Adhere to all local, state, and federal installation regulations and standards. Maintain clear and accurate installation records for each project.

Communication and Collaboration:

Work closely with project managers, site supervisors, and other contractors to complete installations on schedule and within specifications.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent. Technical training or certification in HVAC/R installation preferred. Demonstrated experience in rack refrigeration system installation.

Licensing & Certification:

EPA certification preferred. OSHA 10 and/or 30 preferred.

Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of commercial refrigeration system components and their assembly. Experience in reading and interpreting technical diagrams, schematics, and construction plans preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions. Comfortable working at heights if necessary.

Additional Requirements:

Successfully pass a background check and drug screening. Hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Job Type:

Full-time Pay:

$20.00•$40.00 per hour Expected hours: 40•60 per week
