Pacheco Street, Concord, CA 94520 Planned Parenthood Northern California (PPNorCal) is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist for our Concord Administrative Office. This role is full-time, 40 hours per week. SUMMARY The Talent Acquisition Specialist will lead and optimize the recruitment process for Planned Parenthood Northern California (PPNorCal), ensuring the organization attracts and hires top talent aligned with its mission and DEI objectives. This role involves full-cycle recruiting, evaluating recruitment channels, managing vendor relationships, and providing strategic support to hiring managers. The Specialist will also oversee onboarding processes and contribute to HR initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for exempt and non-exempt positions across multiple sites. Build strong relationships with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and ensure timely hires. Evaluate recruitment channels, track performance metrics, and recommend improvements. Oversee recruitment vendor relationships, standardize terms, and monitor expenditures. Develop strategies for filling difficult vacancies and identify innovative sourcing methods. Screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and facilitate reference and background checks. Maintain applicant tracking systems, create requisitions, and manage job postings. Coordinate and conduct New Hire Orientations (NHO), ensuring smooth onboarding processes. Support DEI initiatives by incorporating inclusive hiring practices and advancing organizational goals. Collaborate with HR leadership on job description updates and recruitment-related projects. Provide regular recruitment performance reports and financial tracking updates.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

High School diploma required. Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university preferred or equivalent job experience. A minimum of 3 years' experience recruiting; healthcare setting preferred. Non-profit experience preferred. SHRM certification preferred.LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and training/presentation outlines. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.REASONING ABILITY

Planned Parenthood Northern California (PPNorCal) supports California's new law (SB 1162) enhancing pay transparency. This new law requires employers with 15 or more employees to include a pay range in job postings. The pay range reflects the compensation that a new employee can expect to receive if offered employment. Employees with more experience, education, and other qualifying factors may be compensated at a higher rate of pay. The pay range for this position is: $75,400 - $89,700 annualized salary.
