Full Job Description Job Purpose:

The Diesel Service Technician at

CLARENCE L BOYD CO INC

is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered John Deere construction equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair equipment. Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and powertrain systems, identifying and resolving malfunctions efficiently. Document repair work and maintain accurate records. Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities. Provide high-quality repairs.

Required Education:

High school diploma or equivalent

Required Experience:

1-2 years of experience in a technical field such as technical degree programs, heavy equipment repair, automotive repair, or oilfield services

Required Skills and Abilities:

Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to diagnose and repair basic mechanical issues Willingness to learn and develop expertise in hydraulic, electrical, and powertrain systems Ability to work effectively in a team environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety procedures Basic computer skills
