Under new leadership, we're building on our legacy with fresh energy, a high-performance culture, and a clear purpose: to move our clients with precision, professionalism, and pride. We want people who not only show up but step up . The Role We're hiring a Field Operations Specialist —a skilled Driver and Lead Mover with a mindset for problem-solving and a willingness to learn. This is a client-facing leadership role that blends physical work with field-level thinking and a growing need for light technical skills. You'll help manage commercial relocations while also tackling tasks like monitor mounting, workstation assembly, basic IT disconnect/reconnects, and other light install work. If you don't have experience yet, that's okay—as long as you're ready to learn and eager to grow. You'll Thrive in
This Role If You:
Take ownership and act without needing to be asked twice. Think fast, adapt on the fly, and get satisfaction from solving problems. Know your way around tools, or are confident you can figure them out. Communicate clearly with both your team and the client. Enjoy a good challenge and take pride in doing things the right way. Show up sharp, move with purpose, and leave things better than you found them. Key Responsibilities Lead and execute commercial moves throughout the Kansas City metro area. Safely load, unload, and protect office furniture and sensitive equipment. Drive 26' box trucks with airbrakes and perform standard vehicle inspections. Guide walkthroughs, delegate tasks, and conduct post-job reviews. Maintain communication with clients and relay project updates with confidence. Assemble/disassemble office furniture and assist with workstation setups. Support light IT-related tasks such as monitor mounting and basic cable management. Track and maintain moving tools, hardware, and jobsite materials. Train and mentor junior movers on professional standards and best practices. What We're Looking For Valid Missouri Class "E" or Kansas Class "C" license (CDL a plus). At least 2 years of experience driving and leading commercial moves. Comfortable lifting/maneuvering up to 60 lbs. Strong communication skills and attention to detail. Handy with tools and interested in learning light install/tech work. Must be insurable, drug-free, and pass a background check. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Schedule & Compensation Hours fluctuate weekly; must be available full-time (30-40 hours/week on average). Dispatch starts at 7:30 AM, Monday-Friday (occasional weekends or earlier shifts).
Pay range:
$25.00-$35.00/hour, paid weekly. Perks & Benefits Paid onboarding, training, and leadership development. Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance options. Flexible time off and seven paid holidays. Free lunch on large jobs, weekly crew training, occasional tips & team rewards. Promotions and raises based on performance—not just time served.
