We have an immediate opening for an Electrical Wiring Technician to work in our electrical assembly department based in Hopkinton, MA. This is a full time role, Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm. In this role you will be responsible for the wiring of electrical harnesses, cable assemblies, electrical panels, and cabinets. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Soldering and crimping of small gauge wires. Electrical assembly of cables, wiring harnesses, electrical sub-panels, and cabinets Perform electrical testing and troubleshoot defects in electrical assemblies and cables. Report failures and defects via company quality processes Ability to cooperate with others in a team effort to achieve quality, safety and productivity goals Ability to work overtime to meet production schedule as needed Follow 5S and lean manufacturing principles and practices in an

ISO 9001

manufacturing environment. Skills and Requirements Ability to read and understand schematics and technical drawings. Proficient with hand crimp tools in the making of cables and/or harnesses. Familiar with

IPC/WHMA-A-620

Cable & Wiring Harness standards, endorsement preferred. Familiar with standard D-subminiature connectors Familiar with machine and cabinet wiring. Can work with wires from ranging from 10 to 36 AWG. Soldering experience is required, J-STD-001 endorsement preferred. Able to work from a sitting or standing position for extended periods of time. Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent is required. Associate degree or technical certificate in a related field preferred. US Citizen or Green Card required - evidence of permanent ability to live and work in the US is an employment contingency for this position. Minimum 5 years' experience in related field.
